Art Decor Poster

This is my Art Decor in use on a poster. I will make this come true one day :)

Art Decor Tutorial

I have for a long time wanted to know how to get the a stained glass effect of any artwork. I followed the tutorial @ http://vector.tutsplus.com/tutorials/designing/how-to-create-a-stained-glass-effect-in-illustrator/  This was just awesome :).

Content Management System (CMS)

http://movisuals.wordpress.com/ This was really fun to do. I am now too comfortable (of course for now) to even worry about having my own website up. Al be a freeloader on this one. I probably will require only $20 to buy extra 10GB to add on to the 3GB that I already have. I guess changing my address from movisuals.wordpress.com to movisuals.me.com is a good idea. $30 a year isn't a bad deal.

Interactive Flash

This project was fun and straight forward. I am just thinking of where I will apply it in future :). Hover your cursor over the artwork to see the effect! Cool :P

HTML Newsletter

My first HTML newsletter. Dreamweaver is simply stressful. I have to dedicate more time to learn it.

Line Animation

This Line Animation was done in Adobe AE. Quite a fun project!

Web Template

Web page developed from an existing web template

Animated Web gallery

Creating an animated web gallery using a pre-made java script.

Crazy about lights

Created in After Effects and sound added in Premiere Pro. This project killed some of my brain cells and I am sure it has greatly reduced the lifespan of my RAM and processor.

PYMSC T shirt design

This T-Shirt design was created in Adobe Illustrator for the Pierce Youth Movement Summer camp.

3D Painting

This is my feeding ant. Created in Lightwave 3D and painted it 3D Coat. I had a problematic time. 8 crushes computer crushes. 4 before starting and 4 more during the design process.

Illustrator Brushes

I had to literally paint on my sketchpad and reproduce the brush stroke in Illustrator. It worked really good. The name of the brush is Mostroke. I would have wanted to use the graphic tab but I cant check it out and work from the comfort of my bed. Its all good, probably Brian will have something to say or ask, like "does your girlfriend have a giraffe for a pet?" Michael Jackson had that and by the way, I stole the line from his track Liberian Girl and made it 'Nairobian Girl'. Instead of '...I love you Liberian Girl...', I have '...I love you Nairobian Girl...'

You might be wondering what the girls in that track mean by, '...Nakupenda pia, nakutaka pia mpenzi we...' That is Swahili for, '...I love you too, I want you too, my love...' :)

Photoshop Brush

Like its predecessors, the brushes used here were created in Illustrator. I used the PNG version of the brush to create a Photoshop brush. I took the pendant light in the State Building of Olympia, WA.

Photoshop Brush

I created these bubbles in Illustrator. This photo shows a father handing over Seattle or the Space Needle to the son (according to my framing of the picture). Probably the mum/wife is taking care of laundry nearby, or father and son were just playing with foam before the serious handing over moment. I do not understand why they do not have clothes on, but according to my ancient culture, this kid is damned because there are some things you are never supposed to see!

Bubble Photoshop Brush

I created the bubbles in Illustrator, made a PNG out of the file and created a brush out of it in Photoshop. I took this picture somewhere in Tulalip, WA.

Vinyl Artwork

Of course this folder initially had Pierce College's emblem printed on it. I replaced it with the Sahara artwork which I had made in Illustrator.

Motype Lowercase and symbols

Lower case and symbols for Motype. Hail Illustrator!

Drawing using a stylus and a tablet

It took me a while before getting comfortable with the stylus. But I got it rolling nonetheless. This is not a scan from a first grader's drawing assignment, but an artwork rendered in Illustrator. I dont know about you, but I love it!

Motype.ttf

I have always sketched this font since junior high school, very many years ago. All the graffiti I did (they always landed me in serious s*** and spent most of my school hours cleaning them out) were in this font :).  Finally I have converted it into something useful that wont break any law. It needs to be pimped up a bit and I will make it more curvy in my next edition.

It's all about me

My name is Moses, but if you call me Oti I will be very happy since it would remind me of my folks back home, somewhere in Africa. I am a digital design student at Pierce College. Because I am a grown up, I am already a graphic artist (duh)
